I hate it when someone asks a question and then tells people how to answer. There is this place a mountain range I read about it where it is called caucasian mountains. Between Asia and the White people of Europe. Maybe that is where they get that saying? Perhaps they lived close to this area.
Asia people are light skinned to me.

Well, actually they are scientiffically correct. When we look at africans ad europeans, we see major differences such as their noses, their protruding skull, their skeletorial features (such as the features of the kenyan runners who have a "runner's body"). However, scientists believe that Europeans and Most Asians have almost the same defining features of race, except for the few gene mutations, such as skin color and hair color. Other than those few mutated genes(also known as alleles), the skeletal, facial, anatomical and genetic features are mostly the same. So speaking scientifically, those Indians who call themselves coccasian are just about right. I will star this question for more scientific analasys;)

This is because India was once a colony of England. The people from India that consider themselves Caucasians are probably descended from the English that ruled the country until the 20th century.

Does it really matter what one wants to considers himself to be? If you are Caucasian, you should take it as a compliment.
If I were from India and asked to choose I would likely claim Caucasian as it would be closest to what I am.

How do you act Caucasian? Do you go to the Caucasus Mountains and then try to become a Caucasian? I imagine they'd do it by plane and then socializing.

There's no such thing as acting white dumbass. Think a little. What is it that they're doing that you've decided that they consider themselves white? Did they tell you that they did?

Because for the ethnic group purposes they are considered either Caucasian or Asian, depending on which country they are from. My instructor from Libya is considered Caucasian, but my instructor that was from Pakistan, was considered Asian, it all depends on where on country is.

The so called racial classifications used are archaic and were arbitrarily established. During the time this "science" was created, they used to use phrenology (head shapes and contours) to determine who would be prone to being "criminal types" Genetic findings do not substantiate these "classifications."
