It takes time and patience to get a bird to talk Just keep working with her,.
Remember though that Not every bird will talk Some will never talk no matter how much you try to teach it
Also males are said to speak and be more talkative than females Unsure how true that is. I know most my female birds have been the quite ones where my males have been the noisy ones. Except for a couple Quakers I have worked with two of the females were the more talkative
Which is why I say it is bird dependent not sex or species.

I also notice that I found one that I was working with would never speak when I was working with her But as soon as she was in the room alone she would be just a whispering to herself. LOL
Best advice keep working and If it never happens love her anyway

Maybe, but I wouldn't get my hopes up. The boys do much better at talking. If you were talking African Greys then it wouldn't matter they both talk very well. If you really want to have a talker, you may have to graduate up to the larger parrots. Blue Crowned Amazon, Yellow Naped Amazon, and of course, African Greys.

Good luck

they are very family oriented, like strong bonds, once it feels secure with its new family and surroundings it will mimic sounds, but males are better with mimiking...she will speak to you very soon if she is trying to mimik you. good luck and you are so lucky you own one.
