There was a study done by an international team of scientist to discover the frequency and severity of class 3-5 hurricanes over the past 270 years and this is what they found:
"What was learned
The researchers report that the average frequency (number per year) of major Atlantic hurricanes "decreased gradually from the 1760s until the early 1990s, reaching anomalously low values during the 1970s and 1980s." More specifically, they note that "a gradual downward trend is evident from an average of ~4.1 (1775-1785) to ~1.5 major hurricanes [per year] during the late 1960s to early 1990s," and that "the current active phase (1995-2005) is unexceptional compared to the [many] other high-activity periods of ~1756-1774, 1780-1785, 1801-1812, 1840-1850, 1873-1890 and 1928-1933." Hence, they conclude that the recent ratcheting up of major Atlantic hurricane activity appears to be simply "a recovery to normal hurricane activity"
So as far as the recent few hurricanes we have experienced is concerned, this current era of storms has been pretty mild compared to past.

Well they predicted 7-9 first of the season so there gonna have to pack em in pretty tight. Course after Katrina the GW alarmist's promised mega super hurricanes from then on. But the last two seasons haven't been kind to their dire warnings

It's not only the hurricanes they hope for, "Warmers" are also hoping that hundreds of thousands are killed as well. This will get more headlines and give them the change to say "Listen to us or you're next"!

Our goal is trying to mitigate negative effects that global warming brings. The majority of GW skeptics only see to their own pockets and don't care about disasters that strikes others.

i think this was supposed to be the worst hurricane season ever, thanks to global warming.
instead it's been pretty much boring.
"experts" will predict this was caused by global warming.

Why don't we tap into the storm and convert that energy and store it for future electricity use to power the city.?
