My favorite character in the series has always been Severus Snape. He is the least likeable, the most misunderstood, and yet we see him save Harry's life twice in the first three stories. Is he good, is he bad. His character really made the series, and I believe it shows the power of redemption as a quality and integral part of our humanity.
It is tough to pick the bravest thing in the series because so many people act bravely through out the series. Perhaps the bravest thing is when Harry has been killed by Voldemort and Neville Longbottom stands up to fight Voldemort. What incredible bravery it would take to see your one hope killed, and know that death for yourself is imminent if you stand and yet he does.
The saddest part of the series in the movies so far has been the death of Cedric. I think the shock of a boy murdered, and his lifeless body being tightly gripped by his grief stricken father is a powerful and sad scene. In the books, it is amazingly sad when Sirius is killed because that was supposed to be Harry's salvation his chance for a family for an adult figure to guide him.
The seventh book does a fantastic job about answering all of the questions to Harry's importance, to future relationships, to the history of Voldemort and the source of Harry's power.
I think the best part of the series is in the 7th book when Harry returns to Hogwarts and is faced to confront Voldemort and the Death Eaters and all the Gryffindors, Ravenclaws, Hufflepuffs, professors and friends stand as one to fight. It reminded me of the days after 9/11 when everyone was truly united. Since that was the best part in the series for me, it is the best in book seven as well.
The worst part of the series for me was Harry's perpetual whining in Order of the Phoenix. It is actually brilliant that Miss Rowling was able to narrate a story that captures the volatility of a 15 year olds boys emotions, but as a reader it got annoying.
The worst part in book 7 was when I finished reading the last page and realized that their was no more. Nothing left to read in the story of Harry Potter.
It was a great series!

1) Mad Eye Moody - I just love him because he must be so interesting to know. Imagine all he's seen and done, he'd certainly have a lot of stories and knowledge to pass on.
Plus I love the fact he has dustbins rigged to alert him/scare off intruders - just imagine what else that man has in his house and what seemingly normal object is magically rigged to do something!
I just think he's funny, cool, wise.......
2) Umm, difficult but I think I’ll choose those who risked their lives to move Harry from the Dursley’s. Some took Polyjuice potion to look like Harry but even those who didn’t were still putting Harry’s life before their own.
3) Well, when reading the books the saddest part for me was finding out Neville's parents don't even know who he is anymore.
In the movie G.O.F, seeing Cedric's dad cry over his son's dead body is just heartbreaking.
4) Hmm, well a few things could be speculated about but I thought there'd be more about the veil that Sirius had fell through.
5) Umm, oh I don't know!!!!! *lol*
6) Snape's memories. I always thought he loved Lily but it was good to read about anyway.
7) & 8) The epilogue of book 7 - a bit cheesy and unrealistic - we don't all stay friends with everyone from school, stay with our first love, marry them and have kids with them.

1. Dumbledore. He is an extremely smart, weird, and hilarious character. I loved that he was a genius and the greatest wizard of all time, but he had a weird side, too.
2. Dumbledore allowd Snape to kill him so Snape could continue to spy.
3. I have two: when Hedwig died and when Harry had to walk to what he thought was his death.
4. Yes, I'd like to know about everyone's life who survived the battle... what their kids names are and who they married.
5. Harry being able to see his parents in the Mirror of Erised for the first time.
6. Dumbledore telling Harry that Harry would be able to beat Voldemort.
7. All the deaths that happened because of Voldemort.
8. The epilogue.
