Hi hun! You got a lot going on in your life! I think you are depressed by what you are decribing, maybe you need to go talk to your doctor again and see what they say, it won't hurt. If you find you get into a therapist and they don't seem to help you, request a different one. Please look into getting help, good luck! Hugs! Von

Please find a new doctor. Sometimes it takes a number of different try's of medication before the right medication that can actually help you live a completely normal life without those thoughts.
Depression is no fun. It's easy to say..."get happy" or to think positive...well, true depression is not about that. Happy people can have real depression. My best advice is to seek a new physician or psychiatrist who has a good reputation and who will start you on an antidepressant. Give it a few weeks to become effective. If you need fast relief...or if you feel so depressed that you actually have thoughts of "ending it all"............PLEASE PLEASE go to your closest psychiatric or local hospital emergency room so you can get immediate attention and they may prescribe you a fast acting "ativan" or some type of anxiety medication and will help connect you with a physician who can treat you. IT CAN BE TREATED. This is NOT something you can "overcome". It's not your fault. This is not because of how you think or what you do or how you live. Depression is a true lack of proper chemical hormones in the brain and the medications REPLACES what the brain lacks in producing in order to enable you to live a full and happy life. My best to you. Take care and if your feeling bad now...please go to the emergency room. Trust me when I tell you that they WILL help you. Take care.

If you have always thought you suffered from depression then you HAVE. Depression is a very complex, personal thing and you need to get the help that you deserve. Talk to your family doctor and just explain how you feel, there is nothing to be ashamed of. A small amount of anti-depressant may be all it will take to get you feeling better. Have your Dr also refer you to a Psychologist that treats patients close to your age or with the same issues you are dealing with.
Help is out there, and you need to find it. I know, I've been there since I was a child. Good luck and God Bless, R

HEY, you may not feel like crying but it pains me to think that you have had therapy and counceling and have not been able to identify that it could be depression... (i am not blaming you...) this time is different... you need to get help, now... and that is how you can start to feel better...

The therapists and doctors you are going to arn't giving you an answer. Maybe they simply are more interested in your money then your sickness. I can help you because i have overcome severe depression, but first you have to give me more information on what you feel is missing from your life? Do you feel unconfortable with who you are? Is there somone abusive in your life? have people teased you in the past? Give a breif biography of your life.
Love, Kurina
Ps. I'll help as soon as you give more information.

Never been diagnose. You need to find someone else, in Behavior Health field, that can properly diagnose you. You won't be able to overcome, or shall I say be able to at least manage your depressive state with getting help, and properly diagnose.

You might want to consider therapy with a different practitioner. And you might also want to tell him/her that you think you're depressed.
And telling someone who is depressed to cheer up is like telling someone with a broken leg to just get up and walk.

Just be happy. Listen to exciting music instead of the depressing one. And exercise will work to get rid of your stress and depression. Smile :-)
