Yep you would lose weight however you would also be malnutritioned and very very sick! Too much calcium and milk products can put alot of pressure on your kidneys. Depending on the cereal you would also suffer constipation/bloating.

That would depend on the cereal and the milk you are using. Muesli, which is high in fat, calories and carbohydrates, combined with full cream milk, also high in fat, cals and carbs, could in fact make you gain weight. However despite this a diet of nothing but cereal and milk will do far more harm than good. You will not be getting the vitamins and minerals your body needs to function properly, this could cause your metabolism to slow, making it harder to burn calories. You could also end up anaemic due to, among other factors, a lack of iron. If you want to lose weight try a balanced diet of lean meat, whole wheat cereals/breads/grains, plenty of fresh fruit and vege, coupled with exercise.

That really doesn't sound healthy. How about trying vegetables and fruits instead? You'd be able to eat a lot more and get the nutrition you need. And as a bonus of that healthy diet, you'd lose weight. I'm not sure on the specifics -- ie. how much you'd lose -- but I know it's a better road to take in the long run.

Well yes, but then when you have to go back to eating like a normal person.....you'll gain it back. Learn what real foods are healthy and low in calories and fat....and get into the habit of eating those things. And always pick the food that is closest to being natural you can to insure the most health benefits....ie: if you had a choice between juice candies and juice.....pick juice. I know it's obvious, but we don't always do it.....

You would probably loose weight.
BUT
You would also slow your metabolism, so future weight gain.
You would lack essential vitamins and minerals so hair, skin and nails would loose condition.
You would be likely to get ill.
INSTEAD
Have what you suggested for breakfast.
Have a piece of fruit mid morning and mid afternoon.
A salad sandwich on wholewheat bread for lunch.
And lean meat with salad or steamed vegetables for dinner.
Drink plenty of water.
Get 20 minutes exercise each day.
You will boost your metabolism, loose weight, and your hair, skin and nails will glow with good health.

hey nicole um......... that is not a very healthy way to eat. because you are depriving yourself from a propper source of nutrition it may help you loose weight but i have tried something similar and i got very sick. might i suggest a diet that does not deprive you from food(other than cerial) but a diet that gives you a propper amount of protien and fruits and veggetable or a helthier choice would be Marilue Henner's Total Health Makeover diet book personally i use her diet book and i have got the most benifites from it. by now becareful in your choice of diet

yeah but you wont get all your needed vitamins and nutrients, and you could get sick...try replacing 2 meals with cereal then eating a sensible dinner and take a multi vitamin.
