Only time will tell, but non-Hispanics whites founded this country for the most part, and controlled it almost from day one, and most think it to be a great country, but will Hispanics when they have the controlling interest, will they turn us into a country of rich and poor with no middle class such as most of Latin American, or will they follow those who make this country a democracy with all it's warts,

Immigration is a subject that's not going away any time soon, specially as close as we are to elections. Historically, it is said that America is made up of immigrants. interestingly enough, those early Europeans ( illegals) that came to America did not show their passports or visas to the Native Americans. Instead, those illegals preceded to take the lands and resources. Then murdered most natives. the ones that were not killed, were displeased or placed in reservations (could be considered the first concentration camps).

Eventually, the outsiders became the insiders. Today those insiders are talking about those outsiders. For years this country has been willing to take the resources from Latin America, and other countries, such as land, minerals, and the most precious resource of any nation, it's people. but our so called leaders, do very little to establish and support economic development to our nearest neighbors to the south, instead they have supported tyrants and dictators, not to mention U.S multinational corporations like (Del Monte and United Fruit Corporation) so that we can have those bananas and other fruits we love so much in this country, while the people are oppressed, and often killed and many generations go hungry and their children have no education or health care.

So they come and like those illegal immigrants that came to this country from Europe, for the same reasons, and build this country. You often hear these days people talk about those illegals that come to take jobs from Americans, ( jobs that most Americans will not do) I wonder what would happen if one day those illegals, because of the abuse, low wages, inadecuate living conditions and discrimination desided not to come, there probably won't be any food in our supermarkets in one week.

These new immigrants (legal or illegal) will come, and contribute to suppourt our political, economic and social structure like wellfare programs, health care system and specially pay into our health care and social security system which will be needed because of our fast retireing and aging population that will no longer be able to help pay for those services that are becoming a burden already. The world is getting smaller and because of globalization and technology, the out sourcing of jobs to other countries, we will continue to have these demographic shifts, not only from Latin America, but from around the world, just look around at the composition our country today, that's just a preview of coming attractions. We need to be able to look at the big picture. Eventually, those illegals like the others who came before will become American citizens, their children and their generations will in turn continue to make a contribution to this country. That is what has made America great.

Articles like these are the very things that put a bridge between hispanics and the ones who really like them. The first article was insulting. Basically, he just lost millions of white supporters because you cannot belittle a people or group into submission.

Mexicans or hispanics must take ownership when they are guilty of saying things that inflame even those who were not their enemies initially. What is going to happen with this kind of subjective writing will be the very thing that causes Americans not have the sensitivity necessary for amnesty.

Not bad, but the primary problem facing the resentment of South American immigrants is the way, not just white, Americans have bent over backwards to accommodate them. We are the ones who started this country and when we have gone no other group will be able to sustain our principles or dynamics. As evidence shows in other parts of the world in native lands of immigrants. There also hasn't been enough time for the current surge of immigrants to melt into our society, they bring their own and they try to force it on us.
