Yeah you can get a 3D ultrasound done at a facility that does them, you will probably have to pay out of pocket for it but I think it only costs between $300 - $500 dollars. The choice is yours but it is not good to have too many ultrasounds during pregnancy as it weakens bone tissue with excessive exposure.

Ok, as a mommy of 6, I totally feel your pain, lol!!!!!
That being said, here is my suggestion...
Do a "kick count" after it has been a while since you have eaten. Chances are, the baby will be pretty sleepy and/or have less movement. Call your OB immediately and tell them that you are worried about the baby because you have noticed a lot less fetal movement. Insist that you you know your body and that your instincts are telling you that something is not right. Sound kind of panicky.
More than likely, your doctor will tell you to get to the labor delivery floor or the office for an immediate ultrasound &/or electronic fetal monitoring. The only downside is that they may just do the fetal monitoring and once they see that hte baby is OK, they will send you home. But then of course, you can INSIST on an ultrasound for peace of mine.
I realize that this info is a bit on the *shady* side, but I totally know how you feel and I can relate to your anxiety!
BTW, I always had an ultrasound around 32 weeks and then again at 36 weeks.

probably greater suitable than one reason. They in all probability do want their very own, at the beginning. i'm unable to think of why everyone could even attempt an abdomen ultrasound at 7 weeks, they'd desire to be vaginal that early. yet in addition to rule out issues, i'm afraid. in case you theory you have been 7.5 weeks and measured in basic terms 5, you have got basically ovulated previous due, even even though it may each and every so often propose the being pregnant isn't progressing top and would desire to sign a blighted ovum or neglected miscarriage. optimistically that's fairly not the case, yet they're going to need to make particular that the toddler has progressed using fact the final united statesas an occasion in case you have been measuring 5 weeks each and every week agao you will desire to be measuring 6, assuming the 1st measurments have been staggering. stable success!

Normally they won't do ultrasounds after your 20 week ultrasound if there is nothing wrong. And thats because Ultrasounds are not all that safe for your developing baby.
You could look for 3d/4d Ultrasound places in your area. It is pretty expensive though.

You likely can request another but will have to pay the expense out of your own pocket which could get costly. I would call the place where you had it done initially and ask what can be done and inquire as to the cost and go from there. You could also speak with your doc but its highly unlikely that your insurance will cover another if its unwarranted.

Wow, I can't believe seeing some of these answers that your doctor won't give you another.
Why not?
I asked my doctor if I could see both my babies in ultrasound (several years apart) an extra time. He didn't even hesitate. The insurance covers most of that bill. You shouldn't have to pay out of pocket for the entire bill!
Ask you doctor. Tell him you want to see baby and make sure everything is Okay. That your anxious and excited. He/She should let you.

you will have to talk to the DR. Because usually the ultrasound place needs dr's orders to perform the ultrasounds.

I agree, if you are willing to pay, get a 3D ulstrasound. It is like looking at a model of your baby, you can see what his little face will look like, and they usually make a video to give you, so you can see him moving around. COngrats!
