You only get 1 boat. Could you do it? You may not try another boat and tell the other boat about it either.

just like a spose, it will get old and tatterd and time to be replaced. But at least boats dont have feelings, so you can go getcha a new one!

Depends what your wants & needs & where your going with it.
A boat at least you can get some of your cost back after riding in it for yrs.An someone else can fix it.
