Can vestibulitis be pill related???

Had severe pain during intercourse, it was driving me insane and depressed. Since I stopped taking the pill the problem seemed to ease up quite a lot. Why?

Yes, being on the pill can cause vestibulodynia (also known as vulvar vestibulitis syndrome) for some women and sometimes the reason it does is because the hormones in the pill can irritate that area. I've met a few women with this that had it happen to them.
