Bring the cat to the vet and get it treated for ringworm. It's a fungus, not an actual worm. Bring your daughter to the doctor and have her treated for ringworm.
Make sure you vaccum the rooms your kitten frequents, and throw any blankies they sleep on in the laundry.
Again, not an actual worm. Ringworm is a fungal infection, that produces spores, so the cleaning is to get rid of remaining spores in the environment so they don't get re-infected.

Ringworm is a fungus that grows in the skin and therefore requires a fungicidal treatment.
You'll have to get something from the vet to treat your cat's ringworm, you can't get effective treatment from anywhere else.

Yes, but you will have to talk to your vet. I just had the same problem...but I don't kow which of my kitties gave me ringworms. Can't give you a better answer until after I speak with my vet. Sorry. I did find this tidbit with a search...

you need to treat the kitten thoroughly scrub your whole house, do not let your daughter hold the kitten until its free of ring worm which is actually a fungal infection.
confine the kitten to a linoleum floored room not carpet the spores can get in the carpet and are very hard to kill unless you can put a weak bleach solution directly on the carpet.
you need to get some anti fungal shampoo for the kitten or some lym dyp .and bath or dip as directed on the bottle of either .if you wantto hurry the fungal infection along you can go to the vet and get some oral antifungal meds for the kitten but with it your riskingthe kittens liver.
you also must throuogjhly vaccum daily and clean the carpets in your house as the kitten has probably had it the full time you have had him it just went worse with the stress of gettinga new home ,,
all cats and persians in general tend to carry ring worm ...and will break with stress

Yes, it's likely kitty brought on the ringworm - very common in kittens. You need to take the kitty to the vet to treat it.
