Front carpet gets wet when a/c is running. Mechanic says drain was clear, but didn't know what caused wet carpet. Due to low $$$ supply, I need to see if someone can show me a photo or diagram of the drain or the evaporator tube.

The drain tube is a black hose with a 45 angle on it.It is on the front lower part of the heater ac case. You can pull the hose off and stick a ink pin in the hole and see if the hole is blocked. If water comes out your done. Please do this with the engine cold so you dont have to work over hot engine parts.Hope this helps. Ive found this tube pluged over 100 times through the years.

why could the secondary or prevalent drip INTO the pan. the pan collects condensation which drains into the prevalent...if this will become clogged then the water will upward push to the secondary and drain the pan. in case you advise which you detect the sec drain doing the the paintings and you're helpful the prevalent is obvious then the pan isn't point and as has been already replied the water is being directed to the better of the two drains. if the condensate is protecting the the inlet to to the prevalent then it is clogged and desires to cleared.
