All these Global Warming questions and I am just curious, do you recycle? Turn off lights when you leave the room? Walk or ride a bike occasionally? Pick up litter around your house?
Eat organic foods or shop at local farmer's markets?
If you do any of the above, why?

LOL...i love these accusatory questions! Are you trying to push people's back up against the wall? If so, it didn't work. I'm a fiscal conservative, but more of a libertarian on most other issues. I don't understand these questions that most liberals ask. It's like you guys are afraid to have a conversation and would rather get into a pissing match with anyone that has different views. Are you all that insecure with yourselves that you can't listen to other people and have conversation or even a debate? Lighten up, life is too short. Anyways, below are the answers to your questions:

Recycle: I try to, but my town doesn't have a recycle program.
I'm friends with most of the council members and
I've been pushing them to start a program in our
town.
Bike: Nope. Run? Yes, daily 5 miles, but can you keep a
secret? I do it for the excercise because I don't
want to end up looking like Michael Moore or Al
Franken.
Farmers Market: Only when I have a craving for peaches.
Organic Foods: Nope, it's a marketing ploy that has few
acutal benefits.
Turn off lights/water: Of course, however, I hate high utility
bills and that's my motivation.
Pick up litter around my house: No, I like my house to look
trashy and unkept. Of course I pick up trash
not just around my house but whenever I
come across it.
I also enjoy dirving and taking my Land Rover off-road whenever I have the time. Sure it's big, but it is oh so much fun to drive. I love a big juicy steak cooked medium rare. In fact, i'm a red meat fanatic. I enjoy hunting and there are very few thrills that match up with shooting a turkey that you've been stalking all day or hitting a quail in mid-flight. I'm in the Army and I love the smell of the exaust coming out of a Hummer first thing in the morning or when a column of M1's and Bradley's coming roaring past and you get covered in dust. Those are the things that I love. So, I guess i'm not perfect, but I am dang sure a happy person and I love my life and I don't spend all my energy trying to change other people that don't want to be changed (sorry for the double-negative).

I conserve family values :o)

I do not recycle but I don't get newspapers or canned soda so I'm not too worried.

I do turn off lights and I turn off running water while brushing teeth and etc

I walk and ride a bike for exercise. I don't live in a pedestrian friendly city and I'd have a very high chance of being killed trying to conserve energy this way lol

I eat organic foods (even though they don't always taste as good). I've gotten some tomato's from the local farmer's market.

I do it because I care about my neighborhood and my health. I don't buy into Al Gore's theory though

An intelligent question from you...honestly, intelligent.

Anyhow, in trade for me conserving money by; turning off lights when leaving a room I save money and electricity...yes, power consumption leading to a cleaner environment. I like to walk most of the time but I live on the outside the major metropolitan of Phoenix and work 30 miles away. I pick up litter for about 3 reasons: HOA rules, personal gratification of a presentable home and......................cleaning up the environment on a small scale. Everything I eat has a major hint of being "organic" because most everything I eat came from a living, organic species. I don't eat fake fruits and vegetables. I have planted many plants and trees in my yards for several reasons: plants provide oxygen, food for insects and animals, appearance and HOA rules. Global Warming is not caused by humans but is a natural occurrence to our climate. Sorry but that is a fact. Environmentalists are too concerned with current weather patterns instead of climate patterns, yes, there are major differences with the two.

Well according to one of those carbon foot print sites that assumed I was a bad boy I was, well, a greenie. Shocked me too! I have nothing against many of the conservationist programs what I have against them is the nearly fanatic fatalism the "movement" has gone in.

Why? It's all common sense to me. Walking and riding are good exercise. Recyling is simple and quite frankly, easy. I buy at local markets since I like to support the mom & pop shops. And why would I leave lights on when I leave a room I don't want a higher energy bill.

Your avatar reads, "GLOBAL WARMING IS RE..." If that last word is "RETARDED," I agree. I have no issue with global warming except for fact that global warming/cooling has been going on for millions of years and prior to now, was never caused by man (and it isn't now being caused by man). In the 1970's we were all supposed to be scared stiff about global cooling. The scare passed, so will this. Global warming is not a threat, its an agenda. So freak out all you want, the agenda will run its course.

I conserve money,!!!! I used to recycle, until gore came into view, now I make it a habit to throw away EVERYTHING i can just to snub him in the face, (hate being told what to do) Never ride a bike, would like to see then off the road or required to obey by ALL the same laws, tags, insurance, AND bike license. Of course I pick up the trash around the house, only dead beat liberals live in their own trash, Organic food? are you nuts, remember you "healthy" spinach and other poisonous filth from you "healthy" CA farms?

I shop at whole foods, bring my own biodegradable bags, shut all the lights off, recycle, use as little water as possible when brushing my teeth and taking showers and I vote republican. I vote conservative because I believe the best way to conserve the environment is through my own means not the governments.

I do do these things, but my motivations are different than yours. Instead of feeling guilty about me causing global warming, which is hogwash, I turn off lights and ride my bike in order to save money. I am a very thrifty conservative. Sometimes I do do farmers markets, but there's only one in my town, and its small. And as a Boy Scout of course I pick up litter.
