I often drink water with lots of fresh lemons in it....I know the acid from lemons can erode tooth enamel so is there a chance of this happening from the water?

BAD. It is very acidic and sugary. Would not be a problem if diluted in a glass of water. But people who suck lemons, can have some nasty erosion of their enamel. Don't forget to brush after your strong lemon drink.

Bad. The juice out of a lemon deteriorates the enamel on your teeth causing them to weeken and make them look off white. But this is only if your sucking or chewing on one.

I am pretty sure that just by putting the lemon in the water your teeth will be fine. I thik that lemons only really damage your teeth when you bite into them and suck on them directly. So as long as the are not directly on your teeth and you are not biting in or sucking on them you should be okay (they are fine when they are in food or something else). I am not a professional, the best person to ask would be a dentist but I am 99.5% sure that this is the correct infrmation. I hoed I helped.
