They are illegal in California. California government thinks that if they got out they would hurt the environment/other wildlife. That is not true at all, because ferrets are domestic animals and would not survive long in the wild. There are many people trying to change those laws in CA.

Well it depends on which country u r in but if u r in Australia it isnt illegeal it is legal!!!. But if u r still unsure go visit a pet store and see if they have a ferret to sell because if there is it means u can keep them as a pet!

Well, I'm in Singapore ( I'm a 3rd Cultre Kid) & Ferrets are 100% illegal. I have no clue why but they are so cute!

it depends where you live I know that out here in North Las Vegas they are totally legal I see them all the time at my local petcos and petsmarts

there legal in illinois and most states around hear i think they are moslty in usa but thats not somthing i realy cheked out so ihter states i realy wouldnt know

We had 2. It was legal in our city but next city over it was illegal.
You can check online or with a pet store and see wat cities allow them
