Oh WOW! Thank you so much! Last night after posting this, I looked online a bit and everything that you 3 ( tiki, evelyn, MeID ) said is so true! Guess this means I should get the tank cleaned and put her in a breeding net, huh? Thank you again...Oh, btw, I just CAN'T choose a best answer b/c all 3 of you were right on! You all rock, thanks!

Mollies are livebearers. You can't always see a gravid spot. She most likely is pregnant. When the babies are born they are usually 1/2" long and need to be seperated if you plan on keeping them(they will be eaten by the other fish). Get a breeding net and put her in it. After she starts having them give her 24 hrs and remove her from the fry. They can have anywhere between 10-70 fry.

Mollies are livebearers, and don't lay eggs. And, there doesn't have to be a male in the tank for her to give birth. Livebearers can store sperm for up to 6 months, thereby having fry on average once a month-from only 1 encounter with a male(usually happens at the pet store).

If her belly's getting bigger, then she most likely is. As long as she's eating properly, and your water quality is good, I would say that's the most likely reason.

Usually if her stomach is big then she is definetly pregnant. Except you have to have/had a male fish in the first place. Some fish I dont know about the painted molly specifically, but some do have eggs. If you have other fish in your tank, I would recommed somehow getting them out because they could eat the eggs!
