I have four friends who died in Viet Nam and some classmates .

One died July 6th 1967 that was 40 years ago yesterday, What a shame war is and 40 from today someonw will be be saying - I had a friend who dies in Iraq 40 years ago today

An average of 17 boys per day died in Viet Nam compared to an average of just under 3 per day in Iraq, Still 1 per day is too many

God Bless All of the men and boys and girls and women who serve and sacrifice for use

I agree that even 1 per day is bad. Think of this, There were 16,885 alcohol-related fatalities in 2005 or 46.2 per day. I think this country should be ashamed to continually bring up how wrong this war is every night on the news but there is not the same outrage over alcohol-related fatalities.

I say GOD bless our troops who fight for even the ignorance of this country.
