Some people believe the universe is an illusion and that god and the big bang and us don't exist! We can say the universe is not exactly how we perceive it to be. But there still has to be a reality behind the illusion or minimally something experiencing it. How do you perceive the universe, real or illusional?

The universe is what you experience around you. The defenition of reality and illsuion are the real problem here. What you experience as you go through your life is your reality, you know nothing outside it and it defines you. Even if other people don;t experience it the same, who is to say that thier reality is greater than someone elses.
