Blood and gore does not bother me one bit.

At my old work my friend was bleeding from her foot, not bad enough to go to the dr but it was bleeding a fair bit. The other ladies in her area felt all sick. When I went out the back for something I saw her foot. Instant mother duck mode kicked in, I went and got tissues, cleaning things and band aids and fixed it. Everyone was disgusted that I could get that close to her.

It's only blood, we all have it and as long as you take care when dealing with other peoples blood, then there is no problem! And my own blood, not a problem!

It would not be a pleasant thing to do, but yes I could stitch up my own open wound. I am not squeamish at the sight of blood. In fact if there is any critical situation I am as calm as could be. It is after the fact, that I tend to be a bit unsteadier.

This is the deal, I don't look at accidents or injuries because they make my knees weak. I am not a nurse, leave the ugly outside my door.

I could for myself. My own blood doesn't bother me. Other people's blood is difficult if it's someone I love.

Is there a reason the doctor can't? I can do it but I'd pefer that it be cleaned out properly before I do.
