In order to burn calories and lose weight, you need to keep your metabolism going. Eat Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and snacks in between. Eat Healthy! Have Kellogg corn flakes for breakfast (use the amount on the box shown for a serving), fruit for a snack, a salad for lunch (light dressing) and eat dinner. Stop eating by 6:30-7:00. At night your metabolism slows down and will not burn off the calories. You also have to get some exercise. Try parking far away from work and school. the extra steps will only help you to lose some weight.

because you are not gona lose a gram of fat doing that!!!
body needs 50cal/hour just for basic functioning (like when you are in coma) and thats 1200cal/day. when you consume less than that your body is storing fat as much as it can and using valuable muscle for energy instead so basically you are gaining fat.
find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

You're not eating enough protein- protein builds muscles and burns fat. Eating only a piece of chicken a day is about 1/3 the amount you need. Fruit for breakfast is what monkeys eat, not humans.

How long has it been? It won't happen overnight. Are you getting any exercise? You need to be burning more calories than you are consuming. Also, consider that if you are drinking a lot more water than you used to, you could be gaining water weight.

It is great that you are trying to eat healthier. Don't forget that it is important to maintain a balanced diet. Be sure to be gettnig plenty of protein in your diet as well.

well in order to lose weight you must do more then try and starve yourself. your diet is ok, but lacking in some very important things, such as fiber. continue to work with your diet, and eat until you feel full, not stuffed, content. Start working out and running more, the cardio is what will help the weight come off the fastest.
