It depends on how fast your computer is and how far back you want to go back.

I've done plenty of restores and they range from 15 minutes to 3-4 hours. Some, like older model HP's and COMPAQ's will take a lot longer because after the operating system is installed, they install about 42 optional programs, rebooting often during installation. Some of the gateways just copy information from the partition and paste it to the hard drive, formatting and rebooting, total of about 15 minutes. Going back to a Windows restore point usually only takes a few minutes, if this is what you are referring to.

while u offered the laptop they gave u a disc and u might desire to place that for the period of to restoration it. i no u elect to restoration it to an in the previous date yet u cant. i no this because of the fact this happened to my laptop too. so we took it to a techi and he advised us to place the disk in to restoration it yet regrettably we misplaced it so we had to purchase a clean one . desire dis enables

I did one on my 120GB desktop, and it took about an hour if I remember correctly.
