It's yearbook signing time and a couple of people wrote down their cell # and the words: "keep in touch"

I gave my friends my yearbook to sign and around 6 people, since the others are moving far away, wrote down their cell phone and the words: "keep in touch". Is that just them being polite or do they actually want me to keep in touch. How do i keep in touch with them anyway? I know it's a stupid question, but please answer it seriously.

They wrote there numbers so they apparently want to keep in touch take advantage of the moment and call them some time just to talk. I know i wouldnt give someone my number if i didnt want to talk to them. Just start off the conversation casually as if you were talking to the person in person! Good Luck :]

It depends on how close of friendship you had with these people. From experience, they are doing it to be polite, but that does not mean they want to stay in touch. But, when that happens, usually it is one phone call and than goodbye for good. Myspace is a good way to keep in touch with old friends.

Almost everyone does that....is just a thing to do when signing yearbooks. But since they are moving away and if you have feelings for them maybe you should drop'em a call or something once in a while....

Hey they gave u their number. Call them over the summer just to see whats up. You never know after that you could be calling each other all the time.
