It seems that the guys I date are either sex crazy and run after the first date when they don't get what they want, or so terrified that they won't even initiate a kiss. Aren't there guys out there who are somewhere in the middle. I want a guy to feel close too, physically and otherwise -- but I also plan to wait until i'm married (or at least headed there) to have sex. Are there any guys who want or at least respect that?

I think I would fit that 'middle' description. I have a gf now and spent quite a while just getting to know her before we initiated anything. I enjoyed it - the sense of getting deeper into eachother over time. We went down the old fashioned route of hold hands first, then kiss then etc etc...not just all at once. I think a lot of guys enjoy the suspense of the build-up. Try to find a guy not in a club or in a bar on a friday night and you will prob have some success. The shy ones you can prob tell from a mile off - I find dress sense tends to scale with confidence!

The good guys that you want to wait for are going the ones who will want to go slow - or at least, respect your wishes to go slow. The important thing is to stick to your morals and keep looking until you find the right guy.

Honestly the guys who are sex crazy are going to leave just as fast as the *came. Take it slow and when you find guys who are okay with that, they'll be the ones you want to keep.
There out there, and you will find the one that is right for you.

Guys should wait because it is in the bible that in the beginning when God created the earth He created the earth man and women and made them 1 flesh. Men need to wait until they are made into with flesh with the women.

well its a two sided coin...sometimes females sends mix signals.....which can be very confusing.....YOU WANT SEX..... BUT YOU DON'T WANT IT NOW.....YOU WANT TO BE INTIMATE ...BUT JUST A LITTLE BIT.....if the guy move to fast he a dog.... if he move to slow he is a punk.......How can anybody understand what you want......when you don't even know what you want....you can't build a house on unstable ground.......Know what it is that you want...Know you limits and be able to explain them to the people in your life..................................................TO BE DIRECT....STOP.....STOP LIVING IN FEAR............All these different levels of standards are only to protect your heart.......you really don't want to have sex with someone that will leave you or dog you out shortly there after... but the reality is...we don't know other people intentions......trust that GOD gave you the ability to see, hear, or smell bullsh*t before you step in it......And if you manage to step in it anyway...shake it off and keep moving....when you see something that don't seems right.....then it probably not right...so address it.....do not leave curious things unquestioned...

Sweetheart, forgive my language but who gives a ****!! It's YOUR body and you have sex when you are ready. who cares if a guy runs away when you won't have sex with him. Obviously, he was not Mr. Right. You stick to your guns and have sex when you are ready! Respect your body!

yes, there are guys out who are willing to take it slow. if the guy really cares about you, about your feelings. then he will be willing to take it slow. so don't except anything less. remember you don't have to. you are better then that.
