Yes, Paris Hilton did some bad stuff and that's why she's in jail. However, do you think the media is being too hard on her? Everyone makes mistakes and that's hard enought to face, but she has the whole country fighting against her. Once she gets out, people will be slamming her from all sides. That's hard enough for anyone.
What happened between her and the system, should be left between the two of them. Yes, she may have screamed and cried, but ulitmately the legal system made the final call. Not Paris.
She is just being shuffled back and forth. Do you think she is sort of a scapegoat for a corrupt legal system? Yes, she got out b/c of her celebrity status, but ulitmately the legal system let her go.
What do you think? Do you sort of feel bad for this girl? I would probably be crying my eyes out if I were in jail. I'm not rich or famous.
Do you feel bad for her at all?

I believe she deserves to be in jail, but I don't think it's anyone business what happens to her behind bars. Just b/c she crys, doesn't not mean the system should let her out. But, they did and than took her back. If anything is truly wrong, the legal system is. They should stick to one punishment. The are just shuffling this girl around, b/c of lack of communication and authority in the legal system. Sherhiff didn't listen to the judge, bottom line. How is that Paris' fault.

I think she should stop acting like a spoiled rotten little brat and take responsibility for her actions.

I don't fell bad for her at all. She is simply being treated like any other person out there, but her problem is that she has no common sense. Why do I say this? Well here's a hypothetical: I get pulled over driving erratically. I get a DUI. In a few weeks, when my DUI has had time to go through the system, I get a letter. This letter says that my license is suspended. RED FLAG!!! I realize that I can't drive until I take measures to get my license back. Even if I am a rich heiress who doesn't read my mail, then the person who does read my mail should let me know that I shouldn't drive. Well, say they don't, and I'm out driving. I get pulled over, and the officer explains to me that my license is suspended, and that I can't drive. I sign a written warning that says I am not supposed to be driving. I have my own copy of this warning. Well, I ignore it and keep driving, and then get pulled over again. This time, I get a ticket for driving with a suspended license. I have to go to court.
DO you honestly think that any judge is going to have sympathy for me? Do you think anyone else should have sympathy for me?? NO!!!!
The smart thing to do---the common sense thing to do---would have been when I found out that my license was suspended, to have someone else drive me. Especially if I were a rich heiress----Her family probably has a driver on their personal staff. Then she wouldn't have had any of these problems.
So, no, I don't feel bad for her.

I only feel bad that she got taken out of jail, just to be put back in, however she did deserve to go back into jail, since she could have killed people. The only reason it is unfair is that being taken back after being let go would be terrible! Celebrities are role models, like it or not, so they should be punished to the full extent of the law, to be an example. They choose the life they have and with choices come responsibilities!

so what if she is famous and rich, she screwed up royally and is now paying the price. it must suck to be dragged back and forth but the guyhad no right to over rule the decision made by the judge. i have no sympathy for paris hilton she should be so lucky to have to hang in jail for 3 weeks. she should really take this time to smarten up and thank her lucky stars that she didnt kill anyone. it was her own stupidity that got her there : don't drink and drive what is her excuse for doing it? she couldnt get a chauffer or a taxi ? it was plain ignorance.

I don't feel bad for the fact that she got convicted, because yes, the law IS the same for all, or should be.... drunk and reckless driving is a very serious offense and it should be punished.
But I do feel bad for how the media and public is after her, showing her crying on television and all that. That is *not* part of her sentence, to be publicly humiliated. One could even argue it makes for a 'cruel and unusual' punishment. People who aren't celebrities aren't shown on the news and publicly ridiculed in addition to their jail sentences!!!

yes i do feel for her.
but you can't erase all the bad things you have done.
they are like a purple stain in a white shirt.
no matter how much you scrub it there's always going to be a mark there.
but seriously, some part of me doesn't quite forgiven what she has done. she is rich, she has lots of money. wealth that many people would die to have. she takes that for granted and mocks people just because she is so beautiful and rich. i bet she wouldn't even care if all the poor people died. maybe her experience in jail will change her to a better person.
because although a person may have looks and money doesn't guarentee she is a good person.
i rather be ugly and poor but have a smart brain and a good heart.
you are hearing this from a 13 year old.

I applaud the judge for his resolute. I don't feel sorry for her. She violated her driving ban.....it shows she thinks she's above the law. This jail term is to teach her and all other celebrities/millionaires that she/they is/are not above the law. Why the kicking, crying and screaming? it's just 45 days! If she has class, breeding and dignity, she should serve the jail term with remorse for her offense and move on with her life .......for the better hopefully.

I don't feel sorry for her because if you do the crime you have to pay the time. I think it's sad that they've bounced her around between prison and her home. She will make it through this and being a stronger person for it. I like Paris Hilton, but I don't like people who drive around drunk and can potentially kill my loved ones.

NO.
This person craves attention. She gets paid between $7 - $10 million a year for doing NOTHING except show up at a society event wearing designer clothing, getting photos taken while trotting around.
She WANTED the attention, like it or not, she has got it for good OR for bad.
She has no choice but to SUCK it up now.

no, i do not. just like everyone else says, she broke the law, she should be in jail. paris is a nothing. rich, yes. but she is famous for partying!?!?! what's up with that? i have 0 respect for her. what about the other celebrities (Martha Stewart comes to mind) that did their time quietly and with dignity? paris needs to grow up and learn from this. although i seriously doubt she will. we'll see.

No I dont feel bad for her. She's getting a reality check. Just because she's rich and famous doesn't mean she can break the law and get off scot free. Ordinary people can't.
Its about time that girl grew up - maybe she will now
