Failed emmissions test on 2000 ford ranger had theEGR Pres Feedback Sensor replaced and went back and passed after a day or so my check engine light is on again.Any Ideas? I am taking it back because have a warranty on that part

You need to clear any stored codes from the computer.
Remove the negative battery cable.
Turn the ignition switch on.
Wait a couple minutes for the computer voltage to drop and erase any stored codes.
Turn the key off.
Reconnect the cable.

It now will have a P0430 or O2 sensor code. You got the emission test behind you now find out what else is causing the check engine light.

Need to have the check engine code read. May not be related to that part that was replaced. Or maybe just need to have engine computer go through a few cycles to see if it cures itself. If not then you need a mechanic.
