yeah. try apples too. foods like celery, apples, watermelon, canteloupe, grapes, and carrots are negative calories because your body burns more than they have by digesting them.

The food intake is perfect. I would recommend a few things if you really wanna lose some weight. Instead of having those 3 meals, divide them into 6 meals. For example, instead of Dinner tuna, green salad, 3 crackers and grape fruit. Eat just Tuna and the grape fruit. And then two or 3 hours later take the green salad and the crackers. Do the same with the other ones and you'll have 6 smaller meals a day which is better. I would also advice you to change de grape fruit for something else, not a fruit cause its your last meal before sleeping and you should have 0 sugar while sleeping so your body is forced to use fat for energy. Don't eat anything from 6pm until the next day. Excercise with an empty stomach. Another thing you must do is drinking at least 2 liters of water a day, plus you can drink a lot of green tea it helps with weight loss. Don't forget you MUST exercise to lose weight, this diet is useless if you don't do any excercise, at least two times a day. Good Luck!

Yes you will loose weight. No, it is not a good start, you will be hungry and cranky all day. Just eat a little less of everything, heed the other people's answers about your need for protein in the morning, try to loose weight gradually and you need not even work out to loose weight.
I lost 7 pound in 3 months by 1) weighing every morning before breakfast and every night before going to bed, write the numbers on a calendar, it's so nice to see last months figures all larger than this months', and 2) watching wat goes in. Sure when I go to a restaurant/buffet I like to fill up, but fluctuations are normal, and alltogther I lost weight.

Add a couple of boiled eggs & a glass of orange juice & you'll be on the right track. The protein & fructose will help you more than you can imagine. If you want to start out right, eat a decent breakfast & a healthy lunch, but make dinner your lightest meal & don't eat after 6 o' clock at night. No midnight snacking! Up your activity level & the weight will come off. Good luck - now all I have to do is take my own advice!

grapes and water is barely better than nothing. in order for the metabolism to function properly there must be a sufficient amount of proteins, carbohydrates and fats consumed daily, along with those come various vitamins and minerals. only a balanced diet will provide the nutrients for the metabolism to function normally and for it to increase the rate of fat loss. restricting the calories too much and not eating enough of the right foods has the exact opposite on the metabolism. the body will burn less fat at rest and during exercise, the rate of muscle loss is increased and most likely measurable weight gain will occur once normal eating practices are resumed.
a good breakfast would be something like 2 eggs + 1 extra egg white, 1/2 cup of oatmeal and some fruit. each meal should consist of either protein/carbs or protein/fats and you never want to consume less calories than the BMR requires

You need a breakfast that has more substance. It is the most important meal of the day, and it should be your largest, and dinner your smallest. Having a good breakfast is essential to losing weight because it gives you energy throughout the day and will help you eat less. In the meantime, AVOID food that contains hydrogenated oils (fried fast foods, etc.), high-fructose corn syrup (most, but not all sodas contain this, etc), and enriched flour . Just check the food label in the 'ingredients' part. America is the only country that has these ingredients which are literally fattening the people. All other countries have banned these products from their food. I personally eat organic food, which is just food without these ingredients and organic food is grown/processed without chemicals and artificial ingredients. If you want more info, all u have to do is type in hydrogenated oil or high fructose corn syrup in google and loads of information will come up.

your body needs energy too. the grapes are just full of water and sugar.
you can still lose weight and eat "real" food.
have a cup of yogurt w/granola and a banana for breakfast.
then have a snack before lunch (those 100 calorie pack Oreo thin crisps, for example)
then for lunch have a salad w/ 1/4 cup of tuna (if you like) with low fat dressing and an apple
for an afternoon snack, have almonds and carrot sticks
for dinner, have something like a low fat pita wrap.
try the low carb, low fat pita with grilled chicken strips, low fat mozzarella cheese and ranch dressing.
it's suggested that you eat three small meals a day w/ healthy snacks in between to lose weight. it really works! just keep your eye on the portions. use a small plate, not a big dinner plate and use the small plate as a guide.
take your vitamins, too!

No, that is a recipe for disaster! You need protein, and the best time to eat it is in the morning. Us Americans like to eat our heavy dinner and a light breakfast. I have lost 10 lbs. in a week just by switching breakfast and dinner. take your ideal weight and times it by 10 and that is how many calories you want to be eating per day.

I strongly recommend you to get the Paleo Recipe Book ( watch the video presentation here: http://www.paleorecipebook.link ) It has over 370 healthy Paleo recipes that are very easy and fast to cook, not to mention they are incredibly delicious. The book is based upon everyday, modern foods that mimic the food groups eaten during prehistoric times.
Paleo comes from Paleolithic. Paleolithic Era was a period of about 2.5 million years duration that ended around 10,000 years ago with the development of agriculture. Food cultivation and preparation greatly declined in quality after the Paleolithic Age, with the advent of agriculture and domestication of animals and that humans have not evolved to properly digest new foods such as grain and dairy, much less the highly-processed and high-calorie processed foods that are so readily available and cheap, and this has led to modern-day problems such as obesity, heart disease, diabetes etc.
You should enjoy a longer, healthier and more active life, stop eating processed foods!
