The statistics cannot be wrong. (see "An Inconvenient Truth"). The numbers keep on getting hotter throughout the decades and they are not slowing down. Global warming is hot and so is hell. Can this be the warning of the beginning of the end?

I just want your opinions ;)

Al Gore's movie is a mixture of fact and fiction and exaggeration.

Al Gore is not a scientist. Al Gore has no expertise on this subject.

Al Gore recently started a company to sell phony carbon credits to rich liberals that live in enormous mansions that use ten times the energy that the average family of 4 uses and fly all over the place on private jets that use over 1,000 times as much fossil fuel per mile as the most wasteful SUV.

Al Gore will make several hundred million dollars from his new company.

Al Gore's movie is nothing more than advertising hype for his new company.

I recommend that you do not cite Al Gore as your expert. If you cite Al Gore as your source of information, all you accomplish is to destroy your credibility.

I recommend that you cite real scientists rather than Al Gore. You will have much more credibility.

A lot of money is given for grants, some people argue
there is no global warming, it is just an economic issue.
There have always been climate changes. There always will be.
We have just increased the rate of the change by CO2
and clear cutting (for more cattle farms) so all those folks can have their steaks & Mc Donalds, driving everywhere and the factory pollution.
The US is the worst, and the big money, Gas/oil, Auto and
Cigarettes pay for the Political Campaigns.
Look further down the road, when the ice caps melt, the ocean temp will drop, we will lose the warm currents and then, another ice age. So, probably not.
Have you ever heard of 2012? The Mayans calendar ends
12/20/2012 and we will be in the dark part of the galaxy.
There will be a planetary alignment some predict will change the poles. This has happened before. (the pole shift I mean)

Oh, wow, Al Gore and several other thousand democrats would cheer for this question right about now. "Global warming is ruining us, coastlines will be flooded and we will all die! Let's start driving hybrids and using solar panels and we will all be safe!"

SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Global warming is one of the dumbest, stupidest, and ridiculous theories out there. Oh no, the temperature is raising. I'm sure our climate has never gone through changes in temperature before, this must be the first time..........NOT!

It's stupid to assume that just because the temperatures have gone up a bit that the Earth is going into a "global warming." Our climate has gone through changes before, it's stupid and ignorant to assume that it is the issue now. And the do you know how much the temperature has raised (According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change)? .6 degrees Celsius OVER THE LAST CENTURY. That is so significant, isn't it? I don't think so either.

And this slight SLIGHT raise in temp isn't our fault at all. Half of the global warming of the last century has happened between 1900 and 1945. If it was our fault, it would have happened more recently, seeing as we have been burning more fuel more recently.

So don't buy into the crap about how global warming will wreck us, it's all a bunch of stupid political garbage.

The numbers have been on a general sawtooth in a big 100,000 year cycle for a half-million years or more...from much hotter than now to way colder. An about a thousand years ago +/- it was as hot or hotter for many years during the MWP...the earth then cooled down to the Little Ice Age in the 1700's, which might have been a cold Hell!

You have not been looking at ALL the numbers.

If you want previews of Hell...look at concentration camps, or look into the mouth of a Hawiaan Volcano. Put them together...might have some slight idea then. But God has already said what Hell will IS like...read it.

Yes like the above poster it does help new life forms on the planet also theres nothing to worry about like our 4 seasons the planet goes in periods of warming and cooling it's like a giant a/c unit it will correct the problem before any major damage is done and visa versa. Kinda like that movie the day after tomorrow but that was a little extreme imo. as for the world ending in 2012 give me a break the world wont end for another ehh i forgot how much longer the sun has on it's life a good number of million/billion years im not sure but when the sun dies out the planet earth will be fried up then engluffed while the sun goes through it's circle of a stars life... not much hope then for human kind.

No, its not the end. Global Warming has been going on since the early 1900's and you would know this if you did your homework. It's not hot everywhere, maybe in some states, but up here in Canada, this country could turn to winter all year round. The only place where it won't really effect is close to the equator. Everywhere else could be destroyed. I'm not saying it will be, but nobody really knows that answer, and who knows what will happen to this beautiful earth of ours if we don't start doing something NOW.

Although connections between global warming and hell can be drawn, the only definition of hell is given where you as a human being are insatiable to everything and nothing will ever satisfy you. If you ask me, I would say extremely rich and snobby people are more of a preview of hell than global warming.

It can hardly be called a preview of Hell.

the "dire"predictions of the temperature rising 2.5 deg C BY NOW turned out to be 0.5 deg....

And the predicted rise in sea level even with that modest temperature rise didn't happen...

Maybe the people making the predictions forgot that when ice that is FLOATING on water melts, the level of the water is unchanged.

AND.. the numbers don't keep getting hotter through the decades. The global warming alarmists don't like to mention that we had COOLING in the 1970's... and the alarmists were predicting an ice age... due to greenhouse gasses.

Essentially the global warming alarmists haven't a clue what to expect. They are trying to extrapolate very limited data to mean something. All they really have is a wild guess.

I doubt it. I dont believe in a theological hell but I do believe that folks here on the physical plane can experiance heaven or hell in their daily lives and I also believe that global warming along with the other enviromental problems are at least in part due to human's arrogance, greed and laziness.
