So he could pretend his administration cared about the environment, but without actually committing to do anything about it.

Just exactly why would you expect the Democrats to answer a question like this.

Now from someone that is an Independent, the reason that
he has delayed it is because George Bush knows that
global warming is a bunch of B.S made up by the loonies
and goonies, starting with Al Gore.

Priorities - immediate priorities.
Like the war on terror, millions of illegal immigrants, etc...etc.....
The global warming issue isn't an immediate threat to anyone and a slight delay while other pressing issues are addressed isn't going to make any difference.
It's a pressing issue to the far left only because the war has already been decided by them - we lost.
