By getting involved in your local community and in politics. You have to vote in the locals and the national elections. Watch and listen to what's happening, and have an opinion. Then see who has the same views in the political parties. If you don't see like minded groups, how about starting your own. Write letters to MP's, and vote wherever you can. Democracy is the only answer for you! Be careful though with condemnation, as the 'mega rich' are not an homogeneous group. all walks of life have 'goodies' and 'baddies.' No good sitting there and crying about your lack of power when you do have collective power if you chose to exercise it. VOTE!

The Mega rich pay alot of taxes, employ alot of people and spend alot of money. They are a benefit to alot of people. Look at Bill Gates, he gives Billions to Charity. Tony Blair is not mega rich is he, I mean, he's not Branson rich.

Mystified Woman UK has it spot on. Apathy and thinking your vote doesn't make a difference is what allows politicians to do what they want instead of making sure they are representing the views of the people.

I agree with much of which mystified woman had to say. In addition, we could all live simpler, less materialistic lifestyles and so not feed the monster of consumerism.
Eventually, if democracy can not unseat them, it may have to come to revolution - as your Thomas Jefferson did say - 'The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.'
Otherwise, we shall end up as economic serfs.

Save your money, open your own business, become mega-rich. After that, be expected to share all of your hard work and successes with everyone who refused to take the chance that you gave yourself. And if you balk, get used to being called names.
