don't panic, you are not the first with this problem:

Stain Removal Guide | Lipstick Instructions

Stain Removal Guide Index

Follow these instructions to remove: Lipstick

1) Scoop up and blot as much of the spill as possible. Vacuum up any dry particles.

2) Prepare suggested cleaning solutions below, beginning with the first one listed.

3) Pretest the cleaning solution on an inconspicuous spot of carpet to ensure it does not discolor or damage the carpet.

4) Apply the cleaning solution to the stain area. Note exception: Do not apply dry cleaning fluid directly to carpet. Apply first to cloth and use cloth to apply to carpet. Work from the outside of the stain toward the center.

5) Allow the cleaning solution to remain on the spill for at least five minutes.

6) Blot with a clean white cloth until no more stain transfers to the cloth. Do not rub the stain area or you might damage the carpet fibers.

7) Rinse with cold water. Be sure all cleaning solution is removed from carpet.

8) If you can still see the stain, repeat the process until either the stain is removed or the stain no longer transfers to the cloth.

9) If the stain remains, try the next solution on the list and follow the same protocol above. If the stain persists after trying each solution listed, contact a professional cleaner.

10) Once the stain is removed, place layers of white paper towel on the site to absorb any moisture. Weight down the towels with a non-staining glass or ceramic object. You can let them sit overnight.

11) When the carpet is dry, vacuum to restore the texture.

Cleaning Solutions for Lipstick

You could use a little oil and a tiny bit of salt and a soft cloth and gently go over it. However it might be better to talk to mom. You had no idea that the erasers would stick to the table. I wouldn't know that either and I know a lot. I can see if you rubbed the erasers on the table but not just sitting there. So better to tell mom if that is the true story. The salt is an abrasive and may work with a bit of moisture or oil (linseed is preferred) and just gently "sand" it with the salt and then put oil on the table and rub it. Good luck.

You can't hide the unfortunate mistake forever. If you try one of the above solutions and it makes the problem worse, you're going to get into even more trouble. Hiding the truth is just another form of lying, and that's not going to help the situation at all.

You're best to tell the truth right up front, so your mom can call the carpet company. They are professionals, and they will know what to do.

Odd idea, but try make-up remoiver before you try resolve or some other over the counter carpet cleaner.

It might help reduce the yuck of the lipstick before hand. Also try as best you can, but I know as a mom I would want to know that it happened, so I could help.

Of course not all moms are like me.

well there is this cleaner called RESOLVE..... i dont know if it will work or not but it is worth a try, but until you get a stain remover keep a rug over the stain...but what is even better is telling you mom i would tell her now before it is too late and tell her the truth that your sister did it!! I hope this helps!!

My nephew did this to me! You have to get some Mean Green, it only cost like 2 bucks and you can get it at the Dollar General. Trust me.. It works wonders.

Try oxy clean or resolve but test it on a small area first. This should take it out.

If you really don't know what you are doing it would be better to tell your mom cause you don't want to make it worse.
