do i have to have a job when i am applying or can i apply first and than get a job? I Need Help fast.

most apartment managers will not approve an application if you have no income. They want to see that you can afford the rent each month.

The paperwork they will want will include
Your identification (state or military)
Your Social Security Card
Recent paycheck stubs
List of references.
An Application (they will provide)
Possible a fee for a credit check

The paperwork necessary to apply for a rental apartment is provided by the landlord. You, however, are wasting your time if you apply without a source of income with which to pay the rents.

Unless you have substantial cash reserves which you are willing to encumber to guarantee your ability to pay the rents, you're not going to get anywhere.

well it would probably help if u had a job so that u can pay for it. unless u can prove that u can pay for it without a job like bank statements or such.
