Not really, the best is to find an experienced broker/agent and price it to sell it.
There is nothing wrong with a FSBO, however in most cases a full time professional is best.
Best to you.

I agree with whoever said maybe or maybe not. I think the speed at which you sell your house depends on the value of the deal (price, condition of house, area) as well as who the buyer is. Obviously, the better the value (more house for less price), the more apt it will be to sell faster.
Most buyers - whether they buy a FSBO or one by by an agent/broker - will need some sort of mortgage. I have found that the waiting around for the mortgage approval is usually the longest time in the process once you have located a buyer.
If you are thinking FSBO would be a faster sell than with an agent (i.e. the time to find a buyer in the first place), I'd have to disagree. I think that the networking among agents as well as any inside publicity you might get would more likely make your property sell faster than FSBO.

I sold my home myself recently and did quite well but it really all depends on the same factors whether you list with an agent or sell it yourself. What really matters is the market, if you have the house priced to sell, if the house is in top condition, the neighborhood, etc etc. The same things that help it sell or keep it from selling apply whether or not you have a real estate agent.
If you get the house in top condition and "stage" it and your price is right, it should sell quickly. I would definitely put "AGENTS WELCOME" on my FOR SALE BY OWNER sign and be ready to come up with half of the percentage charged by an agent who would list the home for you. I came up with a good price for my home and increased the asking price by 3% to cover a buyer's agent if necessary. As it stood, my buyers did not use an agent and offered me 1 and 1/2% less than my asking price which still netted me more than I would have if they had come in with an agent and offered me full price.
Quick sales usually are the result of correct pricing and top shape condition homes that could be moved into the next day if necessary without any cleaning or repairs or renovations. Good luck!

Selling FSBO is more work and potentially more profitable.
It is not usually faster. Plan on spending some time and money to market the property.
If you are truly in a hurry, find the local investors. They won't pay top dollar, but will buy quickly.
Good rule of thumb, if you can't sell it in 30-60 days FSBO, list it with an agent.
Also you should consider 3% commision if an agent brings you a buyer.

Maybe, and maybe not. Depends on how you market the house, prepare it for potential buyers, and what price you expect to realize from the sale. In some markets, savvy buyers will look for "For Sale By Owner" properties, and offer AT LEAST the cost of a real estate broker commission less for the property, if not more.

depends on the market youo are in.. if the area you want to sell the house is hot, might be a good idea. otherwise it would be best to sell it through a broker...

Location, location, location. Sales depend on supply and demand, on price and presentation. It's a job. Can you sell?
