If all the Republican and Democrat politicians are so gung-ho in their "support the troops" rhetoric, why has not one member of Congress objected or even commented on the Bush administration's cut of more than SEVEN BILLION DOLLARS from the Veterans' Administration annual budget?
If military operations in Iraq are NOT about oil, then why did Donald Rumsfeld continually deny Army and Marine commanding generals' requests over the past 28 months to pull TWO DIVISIONS OF TROOPS away from guard duty at Unocal oil fields?

Chickenhawk (also chicken hawk and chicken-hawk) is a political epithet used in the United States to criticize a politician, bureaucrat, or commentator who strongly supports a war or other military action, but has never personally been in a war, especially if that person is perceived to have actively avoided military service when of draft age.

You are just including the cuts in this years Bush budget, not 2006!

You are the only one on here, besides me, who have commented, especially when he is giving tax-cuts to the rich.

They are treating 105,000 Iraqi Veterans and Bush is cutting their budget! You saw what happened to Walter Reed!

Iraq has always been about oil! They weren't terrorist, they had nothing to do with 9/11, they never attacked us, nor did they intend to attack us, and Bush KNEW he didn't have what he claimed he had. Hans Blix told the UN that! And the documents he had were forged!

I love the Chicken-hawks as well! Always ready to send someone elses kid off to die and then armchair quarterback a war they know nothing about!

Freedom isn't loose. It comes at a super fee. with out men and females persons who love freedom a lot that they are prepared to stand up and combat for it, and confident, even die for it, there is not any freedom. As a proud member of the U.S. defense force, every time I see troop-bashing happening right here i'm getting indignant yet I additionally might desire to grin slightly, because of the fact i comprehend the reality: have been it no longer for me and my brothers and sisters in uniform, over 3 million human beings in all, the defense force malcontents does not have the privilege of criticizing us. So for those of you anti-defense force varieties, before you pass bashing a team of folk and a company which you do no longer comprehend, take a minute to think of on the subject of the type you're spitting in the faces of the persons who stand between you and a death sentence for speaking out against the government.
