With all the stuff going on right now, do you think we're the engineers of our own demise? And do you think any divine being is going to save us?

And if you're going to answer with "no comment" or the second person's response, don't even bother wasting yours or my time.

We may cause our own demise, but we are less than a pimple in the great scheme of things. We will have NO long term affect(s) on the earth. Read what Ian Malcolm has to say about it in "Jurrasic Park".

As to a "divine being" saving us.....Individualy, yes. As a "whole".....no. Life as we know know it WILL cease to exist on this earth at some point.

We are our own destiny. We make things happen. We have complete control over how things pan out. Though Ma Nature has a few things up her sleeve too. We as a living organism can make changes here and there..we plant seeds and eat off the land.
We do not plant enough seeds..and then when we do, do not plant them where they are supposed to be. This creates imbalance. The imbalance is a reflection of how stupid and greedy we are. We perfect the mechanisms of production towards food..though vegetation is more than that. We need to plant in the most hard to reach places. Places where Ma Nature cannot reach. There will be no divine intervention nor holy trinity nor 'ye that cometh to us us out' - we reap what we sow...that says enough.

Well lets compare mankind to the formation of the moon. When the moon was formed, it was the result of an object hundreds of miles in diameter striking the earth with such a cataclysmic force that the entire earth's crust (and everything living on it) was returned to a pre-cooled magma state (ie the entire crust was molten lava). And yet amazingly enough a few million years later, life was born and flourished again. SO to answer your question (as silly as it is) simply compare the doings of pathetic little humans to cataclysmic events like super volcanos exploding, multi-mile wide asteroid and comet impacts, amont other things, and if you have an IQ over 10 you should realize that humans couldn't hurt this planet if we actually set out to PURPOSEFULLY hurt it, let alone trying to "save" it now like we think we can do.
Stop being silly.
