1. 12- (a + 7) = 12 - a -7

because when you distribute the negative, you get rid of the parentheses.

2. 26- (12-3t) = 26 - 12 + 3t

because again, you distribute the negative.

3. 41 - 2(b+1) = 41 -2b -2

because you distribute the -2.

hope it helped.

1. 12 - (a + 7) distribuite the -
12 - a - 7

the - (a+7) requires you to distibute the -1 which is just shown as a negative sign

2. 26 - (12 - 3t) Same thing distribute the -1
26 - 12 + 3t

when the negative 1 is multiplied to the 12-3t their signs become opposite making it -12+3t

3. 41 - 2(b + 1) This time there is a negative 2 that needs to be distributed
41 - 2b -2

The -2 is multiplied across and because it is a negative, the signs become opposite again.

after that it you just need to simplify the whole numbers acordingly

How about you use this expression, "Teacher, I didn't know how do do my homework so I asked strangers on the internet to do it for me, I hope it is right. If you fail me I will tell my parents you are a bad teacher and they will defend me so that I pass your classs. In about 5 years when I have a job I will get fired because I don't want to work and I call in sick all the time." But again it is not really your fault you are just a poor victim of the times, it is society's fault.
