i think it will be possible, however, i also think it is highly unlikely unless we move to the objects we want to mine. it would be way to expensive to mine something so far away. it would cost more to get the stuff than it would be worth using. so i see no reason to mine off the earth

I'm not sure we will. I say that because I believe we are in the midst of a big change, a lot of people are passing on from this world and I think we will start to create a more passive world more expressive more in touch with our spirituality and people are starting to do some amazing things with there minds so I don’t think there will be a need to step off this rock for more then exploration. but who knows? any thing is probable.

Not to bring the minerals back to Earth, it would be too expensive. Maybe if we mined it, and processed into something purer and more useful, it may be worthwhile bringing back home, otherwise it is too expensive. If they found an asteroid that was made of something rare and useful, which is extremely expensive on Earth, again it may be viable.

Definately. For the race to continue...eventually we will have to travel to other worlds..and when we get there...we wont be able to take everything from home.

If we don't destroy ourselves first, I believe that a time will come when we mine other planets.
