Both Venus and Mars have substantial CO2 in the atmosphere. Differences are in atmpspheric pressure and temperature. Venus is 20 times pressure of earth, and at over 700 degrees F. Mars is less than 1/10 earth pressure, and at an average temp of about -120 F. Hope this helps.

The atmospheres appear to be predominately CO2.

The surface pressure of the Martian atmosphere is much less than of Earth, and for Venus, much greater than Earth's.
