My niece who is 21 has been told she is not allowed to have children (she was born with 2 main aorta valves and has had 2 open heart surgeries) the pregnancy will put a strain on her heart and could cause her to have a heart attack.

My daughter, (who only wants 2 children), after she has her next child has offered to be a surragate mother for my niece so she can become a mother, they are very close, like sisters

Would God approve or not?

I can not presume what God thinks. Therefore I will answer only with my opinion. God does approve of adoption: Moses, is only one example. I also understand the desire to be a parent, I am an adoptive parent, and a foster parent. God understands the desire to parent a child, he has a greater and deeper understanding of the desire your neice feels and the generosity of your daughter.

Wanzana is solid, Sara did use Hagar to furnish Abraham his first born, simply by fact she believed herself to be baren. And that could be a suited sacrifice if she would be in a position to deal with wearing a toddler for 9 months and then allowing yet another female to enhance it. i don't beleive that could be a sin, yet i might complication with regard to the family members dynamics. What in the experience that your niece and daughter finally end up having different perspectives on self-discipline, or preparation, etc. Is your daughter prepared to concede that your niece could make judgements for this toddler that your daughter has cariied and born? that should be very not uncomplicated for me. Hats off to your daughter if she would be in a position to tug it off without not uncomplicated thoughts on the two area.

i don't know if he would or not but jesus said, "greater love hath no man than to lay down his life for his friend." isn't that what your daughter is doing? she is risking her life for her cousin to give her a child that she cannot have. you have a beautiful daughter and god approves of her selflessness. the bible says jesus poured out himself for others and your daughter has agreed to do the same. be a supportive aunt and mother and that will be a gift to them both!

Your daughter is doing a great favor to your niece. If there is a god, he or she must approve. I can't imagine "god" being so petty and rule bound that such a sacrifice is not "approved".

That is a very loving and human thing to want to do. If you believe in a loving god then god would gladly approve.

Why wouldn't HE? What a blessing to help and give life to someones life! I would be a surrogate if asked when I was younger for a dear freind or family member. WHat a wonderful gift to give.

Let me clear 1 thing up. Abraham's 1st son was not through a surrogate. He had sex with his 'maid'.

I think God would approve. She's just the vessel. Not her egg nor is she sleeping with him.

Yes, I'm sure He would. Think of the many selfless acts of Jesus, and your daughter would be basically risking her life to have this child so that her cousin can have joy.
