Is there any chance that the star Ete Carinae explode very soon like the massive supernova explosion that happend recently?

Eta Carinae appears to be a very massive star in its death throes, so astronomers expect it will go supernova soon. Soon in this context means some time in the next 20,000 years or so, but I'd guess there's some chance it could go tomorrow. Would be quite a show for those in the southern hemisphere.

Always a chance but dont look for it to be seen in our lifetime could explode and take 30 yrs for the image to reach Earth
