Seeing as light pollution interferes with Astronomy I thought it should go here!

Yes, but Not as much as Bono and Geldof do with the sun shining out of their Ar.ses!
The biggest problem to Astronomer's is caused by aberration (distortion) caused by the heat off residential properties and street lighting, not the light pollution itself. Its only a problem when viewing close to the Horizon above a neighbouring property or Town.

It would seem so in a view such as "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few". The greater percentage of people with the greater portion of their heads portruding lights upwards would cause a greater percentage of reflection.
But how much can be called light pollution during the day? Can it be said that people with bright ideas, bald or otherwise, cause light pollution with the various light bulb sizes displayed above?

Thanks to politics and oppressive regimes, you can easily differentiate the border outlines of some countries. I haven't personally heard of Astronomy being interfered with via political intention, but the possibility is there..

No. All silliness aside, any Moonlight was already in the night sky, so bald people don't add light.
Astronomers are well aware that the Moon puts lots of light in the sky. That is why they always schedule observations of faint objects on nights when the Moon isn't up. The trouble with city lights is that they are "up" all the time. A full Moon lights up the sky more than most cities, but at least it goes away once every month!
