If you opened your door to find a borg standing there, how would you react? What if it said "YOU WILL BE ASSIMILATED" and started coming at you?

Since they are robots, and cannot adapt to a projectile, I would use a projectile of some sort to stop it/him/her
I do not see them as a living being.
