I had, what i assumed to be implantation bleeding about a week after i ovulated. I have never experianced spotting before so i was like wow i am pregnant! Since i have been trying for nearly 3 months now! My period is not due until the 12th of may. I took a test on the 7th and it was negative. Is it possible that it could have been a false negative due to taking it too early and not with my first morning urine.

Has anyone ever experianced this and turned out to be pregnant!

thankyou

I took 5 tests to find I was pregnant. 2 negative before my expected period, then an inconclusive on the day of my expected period, and then 2 positive- 3 and 4 days later. So yes it can just be too early. Everyone produces different amounts of the 'pregnancy' hormone so you may just not be producing enough to get a positive result yet. One word of advice-- if you are going to test again soon use a digital test so you don't have to go through the 'is that really a second line' dilemma as well. GOOD LUCK.

Yes, I experienced this about 8 weeks ago. It may have been a little early yet. Try waiting until about the 14th or 15th. Then test. The tests that claim you can test early aren't always the most accurate before your missed period. If you still have it, take a look at the accuracy percentages. They're quite low. I tested about 4 days before my missed period, with a negative result, then about 3 days after, and had a positive result. Each woman's HCG levels are different, and also differ with each pregnancy.

It sounds to me like you are pregnant, so Congratulations, and Good Luck. Just wait a little longer and test again.

If you have good insurance, you can go to your doctor and request a blood test, called a Maternal Serum Screening. But it's awfully expensive, if you don't have insurance. So depending on your personal situation, you may want to wait a few days and try again.

Yes it could have been a false negative. Usually tests are more accurate a day or two after your missed period. I had implantation spotting also its light pink spotting and very little. Just stay calm and when your period is due take antother test.

I had three false negatives. After I had my first child I was able to read my body. I had one miscarriage and two more children. I would wait until after you miss your period to take another test. The tests are the most accurate at that point. I wouldn't get too excited at this point. I just don't want you to get your hopes up just to be let down. Good luck.

It's possible that you are still pregnant and you just rushed taking the test. Don't worry we've all done it. When I was trying I took a test a week (I'm impatient and had to know). Try taking it again in a couple of weeks.

I have not experienced that but it is possible that it was just too early. I would wait until the 12th and see if your period comes or not. If not, retake the test. Good luck. I hope you get the result that you want!!

the test was too early, wait until the day you are due to start your period or a few days later.
