I agree with RJP on one half of his/her answer, and disagree with the other half. One brand versus another is like choosing which cereal you like best. I like Castrol Syntec, but I wouldn't posit that it is the best by some scientific testing, rather, it is just what I've used since before synthetics.

On the other hand, if you use synthetics, switching to mineral oil (regular stuff) no problem, but going from mineral oil to synthetics you may have issues.

Honestly, it pretty much all marketing. So...personal choice. But, my understanding is that if you are going to spend the extra money to use a syntheic you should use it for the life of the vehicle and not switch back to a conventional. I'd prefer to put the regular stuff in and through my extra cash at other things.

moblie 1 is good but tends to leave
deposits over time got to do an engine
flush once a year in a taxi or it will start
knocking.
Up to 300,000 still doesnt smoke.
