my television screen said something about a v-lock. now the power wont come on?

there was a spoon in my vcr slot. while i was trying to take the spoon out, the television screen said something about a v-lock ,then shut down. now my television wont turn on. how do i get it to turn on.......(my vcr and my television are in a combo)

V-lock (or Vertical lock) in VCRs helps stabilize vertical jitter/motion during playback (very useful with old and dirty tapes.)

Try to unplug the TV/VCR from the wall and plug-it back in. This should force a hard reboot and may fix the problem.
Check also if you blew a fuse.

And there is no reason to feed the VCR with a spoon,
