No. When you are older, 2 years won't seem so dramatic. However, at this point in your life, 2 years is a big deal (especially if you don't attend the same school). I think if a 10th grader wants to date a 8th grader, it's for one of two reasons: (1) They are desperate and don't have friends (you don't need to get involved that way) or (2) they think they can control the relationship and therefore "use" or "take advantage" of you; don't let anybody do that to you!

no and it's a little creepy that 10th grader would want to date an 8th grader. I know that it's only two years but at that age and stage in life it's a huge difference. One has been in high school for 2 years and one is still doing the middle school thing.

No. Right now a two year age difference is significant, and in many states, illegal. (In NY, if a guy is over 16, he's not supposed to be with anyone more than a year younger than he is.)
Think about this - what do you have in common? Do you have the same classes? The same friends? The same hobbies? Probably not.
Wait another 2 years.

I dont see any thing wroung with it i dated a 9th grader when i was in 5th but then i was suposed to be in 6th but i realy dont see a resone why u should not date because if u like them then go 4 it

if you go to the same school yes, if you are in middle school and they are in high school, them no. just wait until next year when you are in 9th /11th grade...i did that.

Ask your mom or dad or some other trusted adult who can talk to you about why you should or shouldnt do it.
