At what age does a little boy's testicles decend?

I always thought that a boy's testicles do not decend until after birth but now have a 7 month old and learning new things about little boy's. My huband says before birth but I say after. When does it happen?

About 75% of the time, the testicles will descend before birth...usually during the 8th month of gestation. In most of those born with undescended testicles, the testicles will descend before their first birthday. If they have not descended by the first birthday, it is essential to take them to the doctor as surgical intervention may be necessary to prevent sterility and testicular cancer later in life.
