Personally, im anti-abortion.
I don't care what the other side argues about the actual "beginning" of life... to me, life begins at the instant moment of fertilization (where sperm meets egg).
At that particular moment, I believe that it is "infused" with a soul... regardless whether people define it as being a zygote or not.

When the sperm fertilizes the egg - all the information is there
for a new life - so it's murder
just read the horror about what a partial birth abortion is -
can you believe - a fetus 2 seconds away from 'being' a child
- is just an abortion - two seconds later it's formally homocide
MAYBE - in the case of the life of the mother - BUT that is miniscule compared to the millions each year performed
NOW financially - what have we lost -
we would have NO national debt - if we had all the other
taxpayers helping - who were terminated
What have we also lost? - in Thomas Edisons, George Washington Carvers, Eleanor Roosevelts, Rosa Parks, Will Rogers - - - - - - - what have we LOST
we are too smart for our own good

You see both sides of an arguement? Great, You've got more than a lot of people. I think there're a lot of preconcieved notions about abortion. It isn't a baby thats being bagged up and tossed in the river, Its a collecions of cells that may grow into a baby. I dont know the science like, but I don't think I'd be too far from the truth if I were to say that you "lose" more cells each year in dandruff, than in an abortion. People aren't evil, people dont want to kill an, as yet, unborn child. If a person isn't prepared and confident in themselves to give life, Isn't it kinda likely that this baby would experience more agony thru life. Sounds Evil I know, But life really isn't THAT simple, I think Anyway. Rob x

I can see both sides of the argument, and having been in such a position myself, it's an AGONIZING decision.
One I thankfully did not have to make, as I miscarried.
I HATE how politicians and anti-abortion groups insinuate that a woman makes it so trivially, like choosing decaf over regular coffee. IT'S NOT THAT EASY.
I personally feel it is a woman's GOD GIVEN RIGHT to control decisions about her body, and choose whether or not to carry a pregnancy to term. And if she chooses not to, the right to have a safe, sanitary, and legally unencumbered procedure. Especially those that have been victims of sexual crimes.
Politicians and religious leaders have absolutely no right to make the decision for her.

My opinion is that abortion is the right of every woman. However, abortion in the later stage of the pregnancy (after the 1st trimester) is not recommended because I would consider the fetus is too big and it is considered "human being". Also, I would think that abortion after 1st trimester may pose a health related issue for the woman.

I think it's wrong for the most part because I feel if you are wanting to have sex unprotected, then you should accept your consequences. If not people keep sleeping around and don't take responsibility for their actions. But I think it's okay if you end up being raped or something like that because a female shouldn't have to try and explain that to a child if they're not willing too it would take a strong woman to do so though.

If you're a person who "sees both sides of arguments", then you're a person who has never actually taken the time to analyze something and make an actual decision. Abortion is premeditated murder. How else could you see it?

If you were raped, raped by a 1st relative, or held against your will, there is a possibility to go for it, in the pre-stages. It has to be up to the girl.
But to use it as a form of birth control is absolutely unnecessary and yes, I do agree it is murder at it's 1st degree.
But it is up to the woman to decide and God knows, He gave man free will. That is the saddest thing about it.

Personally, I don't feel abortion should be used as a type of birth control. If 2 people are supposedly responsible enough to engage in sex, they should also accept the possible consequences of their actions.

I can see abortion in the case of rape or mortal health risk to the mother or unborn child. Not for cases where the unborn child is just seen as an inconvenience.
