Most orthodontist will set up a payment plan with you. Call and make an appointment to do a consultation.

Usually if you are over 18 insurance won't pay. I had braces 3 years ago when I was 33 and had to pay for all of it. You should ask your dentist if you can set up a payment plan with him, that's what I did. If not, use a credit card. Apply for one that has 0% for a period of time on new purchases.

You can only get them if you can pay cash without insurance coverage - insurance never covers braces 100% any way.

My insurance never covered my braces so i had to pay all $4550..they just set up a payment plan which ended up being 154.00 per month but i always paid one month ahead incase i couldnt pay the next month.

i know that in the UK alot of orthodontists offer a payment plan for those who dont get it free on the NHS. look into a payment plan...it will seem like less of a financial burden if you only pay a fraction each month.
