I've seen people become so worked up over other people putting ketchup on hot dogs and I can't figure out why. My father owned a deli in Chicago and many times, I saw hot dogs being made. They were made from scraps of meat and fat collected throughout a day of meat cutting and ground up. Hot dogs are basically garbage on a bun! So how did this silly thing about not putting ketchup on them get started?

Personally I think it's only wrong to put something on your hot dog (or hamburger for that matter) that you or someone you make it for does not like.

Ketchup in general has got a bum rap by some people as a condiment you put on only when the food is not "up to par", some people feel insulted if you put it on food they prepare. Some hot dog makers feel that they use special methods and spices to make a good wiener and it should stand alone, but allow mustard for some reason, which can be just as, or more overpowering.

do you comprehend what's incorrect? The be conscious ketchup, that's what's incorrect right here, American. in extra fantastic places interior the international, we call it tomato sauce - oddly adequate as a results of fact it truly is a SAUCE created from TOMATOES. i'm truly super in this subject. we are able to nonetheless be pals, yet...it ameliorations issues a splash. Now i think awkward having a severe verbal substitute with you approximately condiments.

People get worked up over anything that they feel doesn't conform to their expectations. Ketchup is a condiment, it's used to enhance the flavor of food. If you like it, that's all the counts.

hot dogs are disgusting in general. I cant understand how anyone could eat mystery meat thats loaded with preservatives all bound up in a pigs intestine. I have to wonder how they know there is no fecal matter left in the intestine. No matter how good you clean it, the whole concept is just disgusting. Dont know about the ketchup thing. I wouldnt eat one with or without it.

I eat mine with Ketchup AND mustard. So what if it is wrong, it still tastes good. And besides, when did there become rules to eating? Everyone has there own prefrence when eating, there is no standard.
