Why do people always eat pancakes on cold and rainy days?

Because it's a comfort food - I'm particular to pecan pancakes, with warm maple syrup

I wouldn't necessarily say that people do always eat pancakes on rainy days ... I have personally never witnessed this trend.

I don't do anything on cold rainy days. but on happy sunshine days I eat pancakes.

I didn't know that they did. If I ever do, it is a coincidence. The weather has no impact on when I eat pancakes.

Same reason people go to wal-mart on rainy days, theres nothing else to do.
